Question 5: In what area of New York City would you find these answers? Midtown Manhattan **Answers to Qs 1-4 at the bottom!
New Yorkers have a love/hate relationship with this iconic neighborhood, but honestly, it is a bit more complex than that. We generally HATE tourist traps. We DISLIKE the fact that the neighborhoods population balloons by half a million people during the workday. We LIKE to look up once in a while at world famous buildings, and we LOVE the cultural offerings ranging from MoMa to Broadway shows like Hamilton.
Midtown also boasts hundreds of amazing bars that serve both the local population as well as those there for the day to work or play. NYC Trivia League is proud to work with several of them. Check out our lineup.
Note: For NYC Trivia League purposes of this post, we are mostly considering Midtown be the portion of Manhattan from 19th street to 59th street. It will thus include areas like Hell’s Kitchen, Murray Hill, and Midtown East. It will also include Flatiron, parts of Chelsea, Kips Bay. We will soon have a Gramercy/East village post.
